Magnetic Personalities
64Russian factory worker Leonld Tenkaev, is a walking magnet – metal sticks to him like glue. And incredibly, this strange ability is also shared by other members of his family. His wife, daughter and grandson are also human magnets.
Apparently, when Leonld and his family want to be magnetic they concentrate on generating heat inside their bodies. Within a few moments, metal items are attracted to them.
To remove the objects, the family have to pull in much the same manner a person would to release an item from a real magnet.
Dr. Valeri Lepllov – a professor of physics at Russia’s Saratov State University, has studied the family since the late nineteen-eighties. He concluded that tests carried out under strict laboratory conditions had eliminated any fraud.
The tests also revealed that the magnetic fields surrounding the family were so strong they affected the instruments during the experiments.
Scientists have concluded the family produces a ‘bio-energy’ which makes them magnetic. But they have no idea how this occurs.
The family hasn’t a clue how it happens either, but they enjoy amusing their friends with their unusual powers.
Curiously, their magnetism manifested itself a year after the Chernobyl disaster.
Hmmm … there might be something in that.
But the Tenkaev’s are not alone when it comes to this extraordinary ability – hundreds of people worldwide are known to have magnetic powers. There are even annual conferences each year where the magneto people can gather and share their stories.
Far more common are the people with a slight magnetic body - which may be caused by static electricity - and are unable to wear a watch without it malfuctioning - or stopping completely.

Yes, some people can apparently attract all kinds of things to themselves. And I know what you mean about your grandfathers watch - I've known people that happens to as well.
Ummm....
Maybe they can align the magnetic moments of the Iron atoms in their blood.
And maybe they can generate a lot of static electricity without discharging it.

I always wondered if these individuals with extra sensory perceptions and this, the 'magnetic' individuals are like, a new form of super human being? I think it is the intro to super human powers. This reminds me of charasmatics and the powers that hold them together. Perhaps these family members are chosen and gifted as well.

The body makes its own magnetic fields by oxidation.

Wow - this is really nifty stuff. I have joked about having a "magnetic" personality for years. I stop watches. Have always had a terrible time with wind-up watches - and no, it's not from overwinding, lol. Bought a new watch during a move, didn't touch mechanism even to set it - made them set it at the store. In 3 days it had begun to run backwards. Loaned watch to my neice and the darn thing started to work properly again. She gave it back and it slowed to a stop in 5 hours. So I gave it to her. Works fine - she still wears it. Go figger.

Wow Mark! That was amazing. First I thought this was a hub relating to attractive (magnetic) personalities but eventually found out that it spoke about the energy inside a human body. I watched a video once, where a man was shown lighting an electric bulb by touching the wires with his hands. You tube is full of static energy videos. Incidentally I wrote about a similar thing in my latest hubs on "energy healing' whiah gives another dimension to the energy present in the body. Great hub.

My, my - Like anjalichuge, at first, I was expecting this to be about the magnetism some personalities have to attract other people. While that's a most interesting subject, it's probably been "done". But you've opened a whole 'nuther area of - what? - bio-energy? It's new to me, at any rate. So thank you for presenting it!
I also read the other comments and found their responses interesting. Some obviously more aware of this phenomenon than I, some having theories about it, some stirred to wonderment at the unknowns of our human expereince here. It all opens new understanding and better "knowing" for thoes of us who know only that we know nothing!

Unique. I noticed that in the video they had stainless steal silverware and glass stuck to them too. It must be more than magnetism...
My grandfather couldn't ware a watch, because of the magnetism in his body -- he always killed the inner workings.
